Comment from a financial professional after learning his retirees were paying too much for healthcare.
"Would you rather be right or happy?"
These words are often heard being said to my daughters. Frequently, I ask myself this same question.
Competition is a natural behavior and a good one, but far too often this leads to the complication of things that were intended to be simple. The financial services business is no different. At the end of the day we believe in simplicity:
- simplicity of goals and desires
- simplicity in how to achieve those goals and desires
- simplicity in addressing clients' LARGEST EXPENSE in retirement
